Dell ends up at $32 on 2M shares after hours.
Not terribly bad but...

Now we get to experience the joy of pre-market
trading tomorrow. That $1 up day we've been
waiting so long for lasted what... 15min?

But maybe there is a ray of hope. My sources
are telling me that Compaq is going to have
a very good quarter and could surprise to the
upside. If this is true, CPQ stockholders will
be very happy and it should give Dell a boost as
well. So the anti Compaq club might oughta start
lovin 'em <gg>.

Hopefully the market will show a little sanity
and realize Dell and Apple are two different
companies. Still, the language of Sept being
weak across all geographies coming from a PC
company will not boost anyone's confidence
in this sector.
