Like I said... the leak could have been intentional in order to provide more "oommph" to the CB intervention in the Europe... Kinda like basically telling everyone if you don't stop shorting it, we're going to hurt you real bad, which has the effect of turning market sentiment around and limiting the amount of intervention that was actually required... Bottom line.. the intervention was probably necessary if only to stem the collapse and create a bit of a "brake" on its downfall. But it is a temporary measure and most of the FOREX players know it... Most still believe the Euro will fall to .80 to each greenback.. Regards, Ron
