Thanks for the link, Based on Truegers discussions of "the $80 Billion asset management deal that got away" FBR's valuation of London Pacific Advisors LPA at $81 million could increase drastically if Ian Whitehead move to London and LDP 's marketing efforts to provide asset management for the largest financial institutions in UK / Europe is fruitful. FBR's $1 billion valuation for the annuity division is in line with Trueger's estimates $1 B - $1.5 Billion. I like FBR's 7 x multiplier for the private portfolio.
