John-- Re: Somebody is buying, look at their year over year over year revenue growth since 1998.

I've never pegged you as having a sarcastic side before. Apple's clean-up (and several hundred percent stock rise) from 1997 to 2000 has been entirely due to a cleansing of cost structure and purging of internal bloat (Maybe Amelio didn't do such a bad job?). Apple's market share remains at the < 3% mark, and revenue is indeed substantially less than five years ago. Apple zealots, however, are an exceedingly vocal bunch. The core user community is vewy, vewy loyal.
