Dear Monty and the Thread, I think it will be illustrative if I post some of my observations about Monty. I don't think he will mind. First have a look at this graph siliconinvestor.com Guess who was short at the top? (hint Monty) Then Have a look at this reply siliconinvestor.com That to me is a reply from a good and able trader. A more sloppy trader may waited a while longer and have brought in mega bucks and then got silly ideas that he was good. His winnings would have been fritted away in a month or two after that IMHO. Now lets see what Monty is talking about when he mentions the AMD "gap". Have a look at this graph and see if you can spot it. siliconinvestor.com Twenty Three bucks is where it's at and I can see how Monty has chosen his buy in points. As for me, I'm a little more flexible. Alls fair in the buying and selling of stocks and shares.:-) Risk wise I'm happy with what I've got at $26. I would even say that those who bought in AMD at the top shouldn't worry to much unless they have over extended themselves. $15 or $50...It could look like small potatoes if AMD does what it is supposed to do, and that's the reason why you and I invest in this company in the first place.
