Al Gore's experience as a Congressman, Senator and eight years as Vice President does show serious commitment to public service and the knowledge that comes from years of hands on practice. He is the best choice for the Democrats at this time. He is also the only one of the four candidates that has seen warfare as a soldier. He volunteered to go to Vietnam while most of the other children of privilege went into the Guard.
