There won't be an "open season" because not every President commits perjury, obstructs justice and defiles women in general like the current scumbag in the WH. And that's only what we can prove. Anyone who thinks he's "innocent" in Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, the selling of our nuclear secrets and Campaign finance scandals needs a complete psychiatric examination. The facts are that the chief law enforcement official in this country, duty bound by his oath as President and as a lawyer to uphold the laws, worked to subvert them, in fact a law he signed into being. He lied under oath, obstructed justice, misled a court, asserted specious pleas of privilege to the detriment of the office, encouraged his friends to lie for him and tried to deprive a fellow citizen of the benefit of her day in Court. These crimes are every bit as serious as Watergate. These crimes constitute the worst kind of abuse of office, that is, the abuse of a public office for personal gain. In fact, if you want to rationalize theses crimes are worse than Watergate because Clinton was lying to cover his own ass while Nixon appeared to covering for his friends. And don't get me wrong, I despise Nixon too, not onyl for Watergate but especially his abandonment of Vietnam. As a lawyer myself, I hate dishonest, crooked lawyers. They undermine the public perception of the profession. The vast majority of lawyers are honest hardworking people who try to help others. I don't hate Clinton, I despise him. And if Bush does not pursue real justice after he is elected, he will lose my support. The bar needs to be reset to prevent lasting damage to the office of POTUS and our politics in general. JLA
