the only problem is that only intc and aapl warned. dell reaffirmed and i believe hwp and cpq did also. that's what makes all of this strange. the only major warning so far has been intc and it was punished way too severely for the warning they gave. what scares me is if we here from msft or csco. then we will have a real problem. csco reports in nov so i doubt we here anything from them but msft scares me.

as for qcom, you're probably right. down in the morn to the 70 area and then a rebound to ?. I keep waiting for ti to test the 78-80 area again and it just can't get past 75. we're consolidating again and only after a 15 point rise (which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't come on the heels of a 100+ point drop).

Jacob, whats your take on the warnings of cxnt and other cdma chip suppliers; dont you think unless china is for real this time, and even if this is true, given the long rollout timeframe and market mood, qualcomm could retest 55? steve
