blake, No they didn't
I clearly was talking about the PIII. And it seem's no matter how fast the PIII processor, the i815 beats the i820.
So, what was all this hype a year ago about the i820? Shouldn't Intel have known then how the product would perform on PIII? I'm beginning to worry about Intel, which is a change in attitude for me.
As for the P4/i850 and RDRAM, it will be better than PIII/i820. How long will we have to wait to find out how much better? Execution is beginning to be a problem for them.
