Larry and Billy don't grovel well Robert. They may do it often but, still lack finesse. I'm afraid, what you see is about as good as it gets.

Congrats on a retraction. Well deserved.

Robert, if challenging the years of ridiculous internet hype by pointing out the facts of the SEC filings is crossing the line, then I guess I'm guilty as charged. I freely admit to challenging the likes of FMK's claim that just 6 VLNC production lines could produce $3.5 billion of revenue. Or Paul Klemencic's claim that VLNC would command 50% of the laptop market by 1999. Or Rich Wolf's claim that VLNC would break even a year ago. Maybe I should start getting fitted for my ball and chain?

As far as your "hearing" that I'm short, I guess your information about my portfolio is about as accurate as mooter and dacheif's sources that Hanil was going to start production on September 22.

Finally, I have no particular objection if VLNC lawyers demand retractions of untrue statements made about VLNC over the internet. But what I find to be a shame is that only the negative lies are being squelched. The positive liars are apparently free to lie away with impunity. (A certain small-time newsletter writer's February 1999 claim that Motorola would be using VLNC batteries in its next generation cell phone, and the more recent claim of Hanil production start up on September 22 comes to mind).

P.S., can you direct me to the statement in VLNC's SEC filings about VLNC now rapidly ramping up production?
