Lino, market makers don't pay the commission and even if they did they would not care if they are creating a trend towards generally lower prices. Suppose if you wanted to baseline everybody at 15 cents, you would pass some at ten. People then think 15 is the high and next time it comes around they take it.

inept enough to pay $80 or $100 brokerage to buy back $4 worth of their own shares???????

Some brokerage firms have fixed fee commissions. For example, in the US one brokerage firm offered unlimited trades/yr. for $600/yr up front payment.

The commish can be negotiated. Does psm have an investment banking relationship, with a brokerage firm? If so, does that firm offer psm free trades for future biz?

etc etc etc
