Tim, I posted this last Saturday.
Message 14445676

Some of the things that I discuss have come to pass (oil topping out, gold, the dollar).

last friday, I expect the market to tank, then do a dead cat bounce and then close at the lows. I was expecting capitulation....it never came. I suspect that the market action Monday through Wednesday was the equivalent of the returns to the lows that I expected on Friday. But no capitulation.

I am positioned aggressively bullishly at this point. I don't think that the AAPL news will affect the market overly much. I saw the downgrades of CSCO and NT as acts of desperation and the downgrade of the optical market as flat out stupid. I posted a couple of days ago that it looks like a systematic tearing down of each sector. Optical stocks have held up remarkably well, so they were last. But the analyst is just flat out wrong about the optical market.

My outlook is the same as in my earlier message. Very bullish for the short term, but the elections scare me.
