IMO, no analyst, or anybody for that matter can
accurately predict future stock prices without
a) luck or b) some self fulfilling prophecy where
an analysts sets a target and crazed investors
make it so.

So by and large, analysts predictions or usually
wrong and I don't pay much attention to them other
than it's interesting to see what everyone thinks.
Either way, their prognostications do have a short
term impact on the psychology surrounding a stock.

Also, cover stories by big publications about the
fate of an industry are usually even more wrong.
