"I was hearing yesterday that this summer was very good for the trees, making for a spectacular color display this fall in the Northeast" Not IMO,,far to much rain has made the colors a bit dull this year,,and the leaves are dropping fast..23 degrees here in Vt this morning..Old Vermonters are predicting cold and heavy snow..for what that's worth <LOL!> PS: <We americans sure take it for granted that heat will always be there when we want it.> As long as you keep feeding the woodstove, it will be there ..;^) On that note,,the price of wood is following the price of oil..log truck load last year was $375,,went up to $465 this year (about 8 cord after cutting and splitting,about a Winter and a halfs worth for me)
