There are always sellers in Silly Valley stocks that have made a big move. These sellers were exercising options at between 5 and 10 dollars a share, and selling in the 80s. If you want to buy a house of any size in SF or Palo Alto, you better be getting some good options from your company. I have read a number of news stories over the past 6 months about people making $50,000/year or more out there who are unable to afford a decent apartment to rent for their family, much less buy a house. They are either sharing with other families, or they are very, very cramped.

There were also sellers in SST stock back in Aug/Sept, but you (Doc, that is) don't dispute their fundamentals. I have seen Gabele make some good calls and some bad calls. While I haven't counted them out statistically, my sense is that he makes at least as many bad calls as good ones based on his insider trends. He is much better when he talks about insider buying than he is when he talks about insider selling.
