John, one other thing I forgot to mention about MVK. Their calender year ends in Sept. So when comparing to other OS stocks whose calender year ends in Dec they look even cheaper. I'd say they'll do $2+ for 2001 making them great buy here. Recall the ON-24 interview a while back talking about the land drillers and the tubulars. His quote was that NSS, PTEN and a few others had the ability to earn in one quarter what they are projected to do for all of 2001.

Their merger makes them more liquid to large mutual funds. Average volume is around 400K shares. Short interest is around 2.7 mil or about 6 days to cover.

Great way to play both the gas and the oil side imho.

Many agree that ATW is a great buy here. Well I'd argue that ATW earnings will be comparable to MVK for 2001. ATW is at 41 and MVK is at 26. I own both, but am more excited about MVK short term.
