New AAPL stores a biggie ; can't maintain silence until 10/18 Pure spec at this time so don't bet the rent but... AAPL store guy, who reports directly to Freddie CFO , designed and built Sony's Metrenons (sp). They are entertainment centers but also include techie stores. AAPL's news is sketchy on the stores and for now is buried by the warning. This is a blessing for it SOON will invite inquiry and questions will arise about EPS charges etc. No way can Fredie deflect answering. My spec is there were some inventory write downs and a reserve established for building the stores. Hard to think rationally with all the noise but my suspicion meter is fully on. Hello to Paper. Best to all during this difficulty but hang as best you can. Jim K.
