The problem with thin clients is traditionally, that they are too thin. This is why the NC failed. Too expensive, does too little. But people are willing to pay for a Playstation, and it is capable of surfing the internet. So it is not it's thin client abilities, that sell it, but if Sony sells many millions, there will be many millions non-Microsoft internet devices around.
