><>...The LORD shall have them in derision...><>

1: Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,
saying,
3: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5: Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6: Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7: I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9: Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10: Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11: Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Ps.2
Thank you Father for your word!!†

Shalom, in the essences of what we are , we are set upon
the face of the Earth to be "Man" ...to be caught up from the moment birth and all that follows in a net of increasing illusions and desires , instincts and behaviors, learned identities and beliefs.

It was ever meant for Man to discover finally the ways to become liberated from the base desires , and flow towards self-liberation , enlightenment.
Not all choose to really take up
the path , heed the call , in this
lifetime, each caught up in
their own web and snare of illusion... but all are drawn.

...and there have been many many
Great Souls that turned the corner ,
and peeked past the veil that seperated us from the
hidden treasures deep in our hearts ...and the
blue skies above.
I am glad that you have found one.

But though they were many , they all taught
and continue to teach:

....that you yourself
are a divine soul...deathless and eternal.

Always from the earliest reaches
of human history, there has lived a
kindled light that has drawn us.

It is the legacy of becoming a
sentient being....able to laugh and cry,
to become self aware and be struck dumb with
awe towards life and a sense of the miraculous.

It happened in many lands , but especially
in the East....which was the eldest.
Long .... long....long before the myth of Moses
was born .

The discovery and "revelation"
of the ten-commandments and the prescence of God
was done in men's hearts , also long, long , long, before
the birth of the tribe of Israel...when they lived as
roaming wandering tribes south of Egypt .

The Eccleisates of Truth, is far older than you
or anyone can imagine. Far older than the pyramids.
(of that you can be sure)

It is fortunate that there were a
few of these enlightened beings that
chose to share their wisdom...

Namaste,

;-)

On Prayer

You pray in your distress and in your need; would that you might pray also in the fullness of your joy and in your days of abundance.

For what is prayer but the expansion of yourself into the living ether?

And if it is for your comfort to pour your darkness into space, it is also for your delight to pour forth the dawning of your heart.

And if you cannot but weep when your soul summons you to prayer, she should spur you again and yet again, though weeping, until you shall come laughing.

When you pray you rise to meet in the air those who are praying at that very hour, and whom save in prayer you may not meet.

Therefore let your visit to that temple invisible be for naught but ecstasy and sweet communion.

For if you should enter the temple for no other purpose than asking you shall not receive.

And if you should enter into it to humble yourself you shall not be lifted:

Or even if you should enter into it to beg for the good of others you shall not be heard.

It is enough that you enter the temple invisible.

I cannot teach you how to pray in words.

God listens not to your words save when He Himself utters them through your lips.

And I cannot teach you the prayer of the seas and the forests and the mountains.

But you who are born of the mountains and the forests and the seas can find their prayer in your heart,

And if you but listen in the stillness of the night you shall hear them saying in silence,

"Our God, who art our winged self, it is thy will in us that willeth.

It is thy desire in us that desireth.

It is thy urge in us that would turn our nights, which are thine, into days which are thine also.

We cannot ask thee for aught, for thou knowest our needs before they are born in us:

Thou art our need; and in giving us more of thyself thou givest us all."

*when we realize that we are on the path , in every
turning moment, through work and in all that we do can
become a form of prayer.
There is no promise land but the space you occupy.
Our lives are works in progress, if we choose to progress. God is Eternal,
Truth is Eternal, and has no
chosen people or
promised lands.

Shanti ( the far older form of shalom)

peace,

;-)
