Saw "Death of a Salesman" at the Ahmanson in LA Wed nite. The New York version from last year. Brian Dennehy and the rest of the cast were brilliant, but I had a hard time setting through it. Same problem I have with "Glen Gerry, Glen Ross", another great play. They are about people who are failures in business, and in this case, salesmen. I guess it hits too close to home.

I guess that is why I liked the comedy, "Tin Men". For all of the con, (and I have done that type of selling), at least they were successful.

It is very difficult to get Heroes in movies and plays who are happy, successful, businessmen. The Movie, "Cash McCall" was the best one I remember. "Get Shorty" was good, but the hero started out as a crook.

The number one enemy in movies these days seems to be a Businessman who is getting rich by polluting.
