How do you understand the the Synaptics "e-signature" to achieve non-repudiation? It won't be good enough that someone can self-enroll without safeguards against fraud and "guarantee" a signature by hitting a key on a keyboard. And a "digitized version of a user's handwritten signature" is just a misleading graphic without a link tying the authorized user to the "signature." I think this may look good to the lay person, but it's useless as authentication to professionals.
