Hi Suresh,

I will have to think about that one. Surprising, even though there has been carnage in the telecom sector a lot of stocks with good long term fundamentals still are above what I would consider bargain levels.

In the one year time frame QCOM is one I would look at seriously due to the beginning of the deployment of 3G in later half of 2001 in the Japan.

LMDS plays should be worth a look too. ANDW has been a interesting turn around story as a result of the LMDS ramp.
I am no longer up to date on their fundamental though.

I will try to find time to do some digging this weekend. I will be a little short on time though. I have a meeting next Friday that requires I have some milestones completed.

It looked like a wild finish to the week on the COMPX. On the plus side we did not test 3612 yet. Next week we see what the fund managers really think.

Have a good weekend.

Suresh,

Based on fundamentals of growth and product pipeline only one stock is currently within buying range. The stocks is ADCT. It is at the high end of the range though. So only a parital position would be taken at Friday's closing number. I expect to get it cheaper.

TLAB is under valued, but does not currently meet the criteria due to the lack of visibility in their new products. Some are suppose to ramp next Q.

Everything else is still overpriced if you use a model of slower growth. We need more pressure before stocks like CIEN, GLW, CSCO, LU, JNPR and SCME get interesting as investments as opposed to trading stocks.

Long ADCT at 28 1/4. Volume kicked in when the COMPX reverse from the 3619 low. I am considering the low near 3612 tested. It appears to be hold for now. We should reverse up from here. I don't know how low it holds as I am still on a sell for the COMPX.

<EDIT> COMPX 3612 level broken. Now 3606. We are now vunerable to 3520. I have a trailing stop at 26 for ADCT.
