re management, government & gorillas : 1. a change in management, or management being unfocused, ie Gates becoming too arrogant; or my greatest fear, Irwin Jacobs retires or worse, becomes ill. IMO, if one invests in a company based on the "head honcho of the day", one assumes more risk than may be desirable. 2. BTW, could Government intervention constitute a "discontinuous innovation"? or a "disruptive technology"? when was the last time US Govt achieved success in either of the 2 categories above ? cheers, kumar
