Richard S., I enjoyed the time I spent reviewing the Quad Research site. quadresearch.com It is barely a blip on the radar screen. They hope to sell 1 million in gear this year, 46 million next. I liked the section on marketing strategy. They belong to the ASP group. Seem to have some relationship to MFNX/AboveNet. I liked the sight for the it shows that people wish to use FCs attributes to provide solutions for the big opportunities out there. Some things that we have talked about on this thread. These guys have no legacy issues to deal with. No LAN heritage. No server legacy. From the archives to the airwaves is how it should be. Without any legacy issues perhaps they will be faster than some others. I will track this company for the thread. QLGC is listed as a "partner". Anyone know if they have seed money is this outfit? Looking forward to the FCIA conference next wk? Any predictions on announcements?
