Tony,

I'm more concerned with the delay in P4, that could have a serious impact on future earnings. Intel is in a horse race with AMD, and they are losing big time. For the last year, Intel's "problems" have opened the door for AMD to become an established competitor, and the delay in P4 just opens the door that much farther. Jerry and the 'Droids should send a thank you notes.

This was a point I tried to raise when I first joined SI - the potential that mid-term engineers would be pushing the eject button in April '00 and April '01, leaving Intel a bit high/dry wrt technical competence/experience.

As I recall, only Amy J gave me the time of day.
