dell's being down over 9 % today -despite my heavy purchases-seems to be a tad overdone

hdl. alhthough a decent article, it's missing a few hitches.

(a) Dell's sales remain healthy, Dell's ASP remains healthy, yet component prices have fallen 5% recently. this is good for earnings.

(b) you can't factor into this scenario the performance of one company relative to world capital expediture vs. Moore's Law

In the middle of the depression news articles were talking about the death of America. American industry would never regain top footing.

Never.

guess what...it's the model; not the product

the U.S. experiment hasn't failed yet. give the Pilgrims and MD a hand

(c) there is little substitute for an excellent performing model or business plan

Dell's sales remain healthy. How do you fit that into their model?
