William: "The tech preannouncements have been company specific" -- thanks for clearing that up -- a lot of people have been confusing themselves by wondering if this might be a bogus conclusion perpetrated by wishful thinkers who are suffering from myopia and denial -- and possibly suffering the consequences of plain old bad judgement. Judging from today's market, there are still some people confused about that.
