AMD is far from owning the 'high-end processor market', maybe they have a slight edge over Intel in the higher range PC market(performance wise, not marketing wise) but the real high-end market(servers) is where you find the likes of SPARC, PowerPC and what should've been the sacrificed Alpha and other RISC based processors. Intel and AMD fall flat trying to scale up. In fact until we see W2K Datacenter with a stable, bug-free Itanium, we won't see anything that can touch this segment.
