dwd: Alladin. free hotel room and free chips(some of them). So having fun and executing my strategy. Nevada out counties give you lesser odds. You should try staying in the city.
Most money in call buying is lost by buyers of OTM options.
Dell will reach 35 lot faster than 40. So my percentage of returns mean nothing, if they take long to achieve.
Actually I am following my strategy.
I want to buy Dell at 28. It may never reach there. If I buy the calls and if Dell reaches there, I can buy Dell and take a small loss by selling the calls. If Dell goes up without going to 28, I make a good return by selling the calls.
Either way I am a winner. Hedging is balancing risks and rewards, based on not taking a direction, but getting rewarded by price movement either way.

The risk to the downside has to be pretty limited with the upside being about 10 points or so. The stock has been decimated and is still growing at 30% annually.
