I read a Fortune article last week. The author basically said that the large cap tech stocks, with its high PEs, are sucker bets. They will have to generate extraordinarily high growth for years to come to justify its current valuation. Valuation was not the main theme of his article. It was about risk.

Before anyone dismisses his assertion, please read the article first. This is the guy who founded Vanguard and was the father of the Index fund. So he is the ultimate LTB&H kind of guy. He just does not see these companies (large caps) with PE north of 100 can sustain the growth needed for the next 25 years.
