Now, I'm off to break the latest P4 news
Here are the JC's number (I bet I was the first to see them.. I was waiting for it :)

JC's Intel Confidential Numbers :
benchmarks that are scored normalized to a 1.00GHz Pentium III
3DMark 2000
P4-1.40: 1.08
P4-1.50: 1.13
Quake III
P4-1.40: 1.21
P4-1.50: 1.23
SysMark 2000
P4-1.40: 1.01
P4-1.50: 1.06

Too bad there are no more... I wonder if they are only the best looking tests. It is not impressive AT ALL. DDR Palomino will be far from buried. Even if Willy gets to 1.7 GHz quicker than we expect.

Thanks a lot Jonh, you did a wonderful job in the last few days... a lot of updates.

Max

re: "I classify them as amusing. :) "

Yeah...I remember thinking those thoughts. They were amusing to me. I am glad that you like them as well.

Patient Regards,

JC, Re: Now, I'm off to break the latest P4 news.... Ta!

Thanks, great work again. Do you have more information on the Quake 3 scores (resolution, quality settings, video card etc.)?

Did your source also provide you with the SPEC benchmarks?

Andreas
