Carl, bad bad day today. Spoke to the NETP's CFO at the end of the day today, sounded as if he had gotten killed. Anyway don't ask me how I was able to reach him and why he decided to speak with me, but he did. In essence he stated that the quarter ended this way because quite simply because certain deals they expected to close before the end of September didn't close. He said NETP sells solutions to bigger companies and that unfortunately in the current corporate economic landscape companies some of these companies are not as free spending as they were before and are going forward slowly with deals. Also contributing was a really slow period in Europe and Asia. Regarding the difficulties in closing the deals, I asked him if this was simply a delay or a permanent problem, he seemed to think for the most part it was temporary but had to look into the specifics of exactly what happened. We spoke about whether or not they would come out with information before earnings, and although it didn't sound as if they would do a pre-earnings cc, some type of explanation about what occurred and guidance for the share holders would be out before hand. But again he wasn't too specific, as he seemed to want to have real answers before addressing the investors and analysts. He mentioned something about KD1, which sounded something like it wasn't fully accounted for, but I am afraid he lost me on that one. All in all very cordial, but unfortunately nothing concrete in what he said, it was an almost like we have to look at everything type and fix the problem discussion.
