The issue we were discussing was Flynn. Flynn suggested that the North Americans didn't have their eye on the ball wrt the network edge. I think, given the data, he is sadly mistaken. That IS the discussion. This is not a discussion of CSCO versus ALA and I take the blame for causing it to deteriorate in that direction. The issue is the network edge and whether the North Americans are focused... and I think they are just fine contrary to what Flynn beleives.

FWIW I have the Del Oro report. It's clear that ALA's success is unit count is a function of price. While CMTN and CSCO ASP's have stayed fairly stable ALA prices have more than halved. So while they are growing share (not as fast as CSCO as this point) they are likely losing money.
