Does Marshall Mathers' work offend you? --- Not yet, but I'm looking forward to it. <g> --- You know, here we are like overly protective parents, fretting over twister's social experience, talking about 'arranging' him to have like minded little pals around here. --- Let's face it, twister needs to do this on his own. Otherwise, he'll resent us for it. (IMO) -JCJ

qwik, you're getting arrogant, or should I say, JCesque in your old age. you don't deserve to be.

Dear Qwik: The problem with inviting people from Yahoo! over is that if we get, say, 50 "visiting" people, these 50 might actually only be 5 or 6 individuals. Assuming one of the 3 is the best basher, he would end up getting all 3 free SI subscriptions.

Twister is in a different class than the bashers over at Yahoo! [or the CSCO bashers here at SI]. He probably drives a nice car and dines at fine restaurants. The class of people we would be inviting over to join him probably look for coins by the curb to take the bus and go to Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's or Wendy's for meals, the decision based on which one has the most in their dumpster.

No, I don't think we should do this to twister.

Regards,

Lynn
