Nuvo Appoints US VP Sales and Opens Chicago Office

OTTAWA, ON, Dec. 5 /CNW/ - Nuvo Network Management Inc. (CDNX:NNM), today
announced the appointment of Jon Toops as Vice President, Sales - United
States, to be based in the Company's new US headquarters in Oakbrook,
Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. In his new position, Mr. Toops will be
responsible for spearheading Nuvo's US strategy, including the rapid
recruitment and management of senior regional sales teams, managing key
channel partner relationships and achieving the aggressive US sales targets.
Mr. Toops comes to Nuvo with 22 years of successful senior sales,
operations and management experience in the telecommunications and IT services
industries. In particular, Mr. Toops spent 17 years at Ameritech, a major US
RBOC (Regional Bell Operating Company). His responsibilities spanned sales,
operations and marketing, culminating in his overseeing the sales and service
operations of one of Ameritech's largest commercial business units, Enhanced
Business Services with over US$1.7 billion in annual revenues. Mr. Toops also
served as Chief Operating Officer for N2N Solutions, a Chicago-based
internetworking and security services firm and for Spirian Technologies, a
Chicago-based Management Services Provider (MSP).
