Yeah, it's warmed about 1 degree over the last 150 years. I wonder why the strategic petroleum reserve had to be tapped with all of the global warming that has occurred. What a bunch of environmental whacko hogwash.knc

>>Most educated people acknowledge that global warming is real. << Not true! Most climatologist HAVE NOT bought into global warming at all. Most people have bought into the hype.

>>I'm of the opinion that we're better off being safe than sorry but that comes from being an engineer who's responsibility is to safe-gaurd the public health and safety or I loose my license to practice.<<

I'm an engineer as well, have studied the issue, and conclude quite simply that there is no warming, in fact I'm more concerned about global cooling. Are you aware that, by far, the largest "greenhouse" gas is water vapor, and the largest source are the oceans? We can't impact global temperatures, it's just not possible. Sorry but to take steps now to curb the Mania of global warming, is akin to having your appendix taken out because you might get appendicitis some day. Curbing here IS NOT a very scientific approach at all, as an engineer you should know that.
