Bob, G* costs run at around $500 million per year. The bonds and preferred stock are closer to $3 billion rather than $1 billion. The $500 million operating cost does not include additional capital expenditures needed to expand the system capability beyond voice, and I did not include these additional expenditures to my model.

The recently announced equity financing via Bear Stearns and the partners will not last much beyond April 2001.
