I am holding out hope that the Bears will find a way to win this season. Time to get it together.

Kicking the Packer's ass this weekend might be what they need to get the season rolling.

Bears prepare for trip to Buffalo

The Chicago Bears continue their string of AFC East opponents with a trip to Buffalo to face the Bills for just the eighth time in team history. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for noon Chicago time at Ralph Wilson Stadium. After opening the 2000 campaign with eight straight games versus NFC foes, Chicago played its first non-conference opponent last Sunday as the Bears defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 27-24. Buffalo improved to 5-4 on the season with a 16-13 overtime win at New England last weekend.

Bears notes

Jim Miller has started fewer games in seven NFL seasons than Cade McNown did just during his rookie campaign in 1999, but Bears coach Dick Jauron still believes the career backup possesses the necessary qualities to be a full-time quarterback.

Phillip Daniels is no longer on pace to record the first double-digit sack season of his five-year career, but the $24 million free agent signee has been worth his weight in gold. The 6-5, 290-pound defensive end has made clutch plays in the waning moments to seal both of the Bears' victories this season.
