Dear Goldnow, As you know by now, I am pro-American. As a European, and a Jew, I think we owe more to the American people that we can ever pay back. Having said that, I have to admit that the US forgein policy is handled by non-professionals! In a country, where the ambassadorship is on sales for contribution to the presidential elections, I doube there will ever be a serious and long term approach to to the forgein policy. Somehow, those who foumulate the forgien policy in Washington D.C. have reached the conclusion that every problem has a cure. Well, life is not like a book. There are cancers that are never cured, but they are lived with. There is no solution for Kosovo; there is no solution for Jerusalem; there is no solution for poverty in Africa; there is no solution for Kashmir; there is no soltuion for over population in China! Shall I go on? These problem has to be lived with.If one tries to cure these cancers, in the process the patient can die! Presdient Clinton thinks he can force Arabs and Isreali's to shake hand and become good neighbors! In the process, Israel will have to give away Jerusalem to a band of Palestinian cut-throats, and rag head camel jockies! Forcing a peace down the Jewish throat is worse than the war. It will not last.Arabs will be assasins of Jews even if Isreal give the all the Jerusalem away to them. So Isreal shouldn't give them a damn thing free. There must be land for peace, not land for insecurity. A Hill-Billy, palyboy, turned politician, wwants to exsit the scene in golroy and in the process force Isreal in a unholly peace with Arabs! I am glad to see that you finally are getting warm to the Chukchi-Belgium plight! It is time that the crime comitted by the Belgium community against the CHukchis is made public. Maybe we should start a thread. Last and not least, I would like to dicuss with you the problem of the Kashubi's in Gedasnk (Danzig) and how they have been forced by the Begliums to abondon their language and culture and convert! ggg You remember "Oscar the Drummer Boy???"
