The problem in Europe is that FT or BT do not what to open they new networks.
Here in US FCC ruled last fall that newly build packet network
by SBC or others are protected, otherwise why spend and give it away to competitors.
Then Pronto, Verizon or Bell South projects were born.

where did you come up with the DSL dead idea?
