Is there anything better than reading Bertrand Russell? Not for me- maybe the pleasure of reading Jane Austen is an equal delight, but I do love Bertrand.

He talks sense, and he does it well. That's a tough combo to find- listen to MR. Ravi- just 5 minutes will do- and you get a mumbo jumbo of illogical emotional beliefs. Now belief is fine, I suppose, but it does not clarify the mind. Clear prose rationally set out is like a cool clear mountain stream, whereas illogical emotional prose is like a muddy puddle. Of course that's just my relative opinion. Maybe some people find emotional illogical appeals to be like cool clear mountain streams. Who can say? Not me.
