re: "I have an open mind."

I have never met anyone who did not think that he/she has an "open mind." However, I have an "open mind", and I am willing to believe that you do as well.

Regards,

DARBES

RDM,

I am not able to answer that question. Perhaps one of the experienced traders or TA guys might chip in.

On a subject close to our hearts here is a post I just made.

RDM, I was just reviewing some old posts and ran across this..
"The two exchanges have radically different trading mechanisms and may have different gap patterns. Is there a difference is gaps on different stock exchanges?"

The only difference I have found is that the NYSE as a general rule have smaller gaps. Meaning, if a nyse stock gaps 1/4 or so I pay attention to it but if a naz stock only gaps that much I pay no attention to it. My belief is that a naz gap needs to be at least 1/2 point and I don't even pay attention to those not that they don't matter. I scan only for gaps greater than $1 and/or a percentage of price. That is the only difference I have found and that is what made the AMD gap even more compelling to ME. In other words there are bigger crooks on the naz than on the big board. :=))
