flapjack, great post!!! My son and daughter-in-law are NEA Members..Are they voting for Bush? They know that he will change nothing. That is the strongest Union we have ever had in this Nation..Nothing new willhappen, Magnet Schools here are working miracles with the kids and I have two g-children in one and they are outstanding students...

Flapjack, Amazingly, I agree with you. Failing schools reflect society. However... "What you clowns fail to realize is that nothing ... nada ... zilch ... is going to happen on the education front if GWB is elected president." Maybe not, but nothing is an improvement over what the Dems have offered. "Because George is a strong proponent of local school choice, and to institute sweeping, revolutionary reforms, the federal Department of Education would have to be given sweeping, revolutionary powers, and that ain't gonna happen under a Republican presidency." Just like a socialist. "Give us total control over your children" I think you need to spend more time at the DMV to get an understanding of what government monopoly is all about.
