The HP 9300 series (internal IDE) works perfectly under Windows 2000. One problem with EasyCD software that most people are unaware of, is that Windows MediaPlayer 7 will over-write some of the EasyCD/DirectCD files. So Adaptec software sometimes has to be reinstalled after Media Player 7 installations. Most newer motherboards also now have one or two Ultra-IDE (UDMA66/100) connections in addition to the two normal IDE connections. So, 2 to 4 UDMA66/100 IDE devices can be used along with the 4 normal IDE devices. Buckwheat
