The problem was there was no pattern - it was a figment of Starr's right-wing imagination. There was no case for perjury and even less for subornation of perjury, unless you call Starr's leaning on Lewinsky with the full powers of the Federal government in order to get her to tell his lies subornation - oh, I forgot, Starr's above the law. He gets to pull this sort of lies and shenanigans. Hyde and his Inquisitors didn't have a case - that was why they were in such a hurry. The facts weren't important to bring up. It was a complete travesty.
