Dan3-Scumbria-Carl!!

I know you'd like to think this is a cute movie, but it isn't, it's business.

Hey fella! I'm the one with the "cute movie" ideas around here and I'll thank you to remember it! <g>

And while I'm on the topic of "prior art films" when are you and Scumbria and Carl going to give us the skinny on this P4 Itanium iteration? Last I heard in early September this baby was born and bread to feed the Bus with happy little data packet commuters.

Not only that but according to TomsHardware, the thing is just chock full of new and exciting extreme solutions to the 64 bit question, FSB and deep deep deep pipelining that will quite possibly screw things up worse for INTC,... albeit make them better for AMD. <g>

I don't get it. The rest of the Mom & Pops around here bash you Imperial EEs unmercifully from dusk 'til dawn and most times in between! But let one of them make a misstatement about the intricacies of a sliver of silicon (for the gabillionth time I might add:8) and you EEs are falling all over yourselves to straighten them out. <g>

But let me raise a substantive question of no small import to Da Bus and what do I get? ...Stuned silence from the Palace Throne Room. What's up with that??! <vbg>

So again I ask is the P4 in for another round of redesign? Termination? Or CPU Hall of Fame? Back in the "good old days" I'd be expecting to see INTC filing suit against AMD alleging <ugh> patent violations by "The Hammer". Has the old dog learned new tricks? Are they going to stop trying to impress us with their "visions" of PC's to come and start competing or what?

...I await your replies with baited beak.
