HG48: Wife and boys saw 10-12 deer by the creek eating persimmons last night when they came home after dark. They think they saw at least 4 babies, maybe 5. Did I tell ya we love turtles, too. I stop and move turtles out of the road all the time. Have since I was a little boy. Love turtles. Have one that stays under the deck and is real frisky. He is not shy at all. Sticks that ole neck out and goes trucking around the perimeter of the house. We bring him inside sometimes and let him roam around in the family room. Momma Coon 1 and her two babies (the momma that use to have 3 babies) are out on the deck right this minute. We're trying our best to feed those two babies to fatten them up before winter. They're still so little. Momma Coon 2 with the other two babies had her's sooner and they are bigger than the other two babies. Momma 1's wounds are healing. Looks like she has lost weight, however.
