Perhaps we should follow the lead of the Irish and pour whisky into our coffee. Just be sure to add enough to thoroughly disinfect the cups, fingers, money, and the breathalizer tube.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I'm glad I'm not alone in observing the deterioration in sanitation standards in public eating establishments: Both staff and patrons.

P.P.S. Our paper published the results of a study on the washing habits in public restrooms in Canada and U.S.A. It seems that hand washing follows bladder emptying about 40% of the time. Just think of this at your next social gathering: Statistically, after shaking hands twice, you'll get a little something extra from the third guy.
