We both belong to Audubon. The great blue herons have become established locally with 42 nests being used this year. We also get the little green herons and the big egrets which look like a white version of the great blue heron.

There's lots of herons and egrets and similar birds coming through here... Pacific Flyway, and all. And they sometimes decide that someone's koi pond is "overstocked". Those herons can eat $1,000 worth of fish in no time.
