""""".......do you want to pay for these kids after they are born""""""

I'll take one......maybe 2.

From now on try to write your comments without using the word abortion.....use the actual graphic verbal description.

For decades, people have dismantled living fetuses because they didn't want to deal with the soon to be burden on their social style and extracurricular activities.

Tell me, how many children are not born exclusively due to the certainty of death of the mother. Health can be recovered so I'm not interested in those who have their uteruses vacuumed because they will be forced to bed rest during the pregnancy.

>>>Making abortions illegal will only affect abortions in poor women. The wealthy will just leave the country like they did before abortion was legalized. Then we will have an increased problem in the area of welfare........do you want to pay for these kids after they are born?<<<

I recall the efforts of one reproductive health group serving a largely minority population to start an adoption service for their patients. The director wanted to offer true "choice" for the women that came to the clinic seeking abortion by giving them the option of adoption on the spot rather than having to refer them out to another private or public agency.

The director's board was generally opposed to the idea unless she agreed to forming a separate not-for-profit for the adoption service. They were afraid the considerable cost of providing private foster care homes for the newborns awaiting adoption would bankrupt the organization. She agreed and they funded the operation with an initial grant. She struggled to fund continuing cost of the service with adoption fees and donations.

Some minority women opted for adoption. Many wanted to know if their babies would really be adopted. All she could say was she would try her best.

After about two years the adoption service went bust. The children were then placed in the state foster care system where I assume they remain today.

<<Of course he wouldn't perform abortions>>

Of course HE wouldn't....it is murder.

<<" Those of you who have not sinned may throw the first stone.">>

This goes beyond morality....last time I checked, it is against the law to murder!!

<<What another individual does is between that person, that person's Doctor and that person's religious doctrine>>

What Christian religious doctrine supports abortion?

<<God gave us all a free will.>>

Yep HE sure did...HE also gave us some instructions on how to use it!!

. .
